I ordered this watch and it stopped working within 24 hours of arrival. I never even took it out of the box. I’m back. Very dissatisfied with this purchase.
I’ve been thinking about buying this watch, but have more questions before I decided to buy: A. How long the brilliant hands and markers stay luminated (ie 1 minute, one hour, five hours, etc.?) 2 A review of the Amazon said that the band emits bad odors, which he must replace it with an aftermarket belt, is this true? Thanks
The reviews on this watch is incredible. I guess there are many Seiko employees. This watch keeps terrible time. I will send it back for repair, but Seiko says + or – 20 seconds per day is normal! I have had other automation and this is unacceptable. Mine is fast by 30 seconds a day! Do the math for a month you will get 15 minutes! 10 minutes a month is apparently acceptable for Seiko. Not me, not buy.
I bought this watch for my husband, and he has been pleased with everything about it apart from the fact that it will stop if you do not use it often enough. As he switches out, he sometimes did not use it for a couple of days and must be re-set it. Had I known this I would probably buy a model that you do not need to go to continue, but yet it is well built, and he seems to thrive in the face size, tape, etc. If you just want to watch this, you should be fine.
If you do not have this watch for a few days, you must reset it before use. I have a watch for everyday use, so it is opten. I liked the old battery-powered Seiko Dive, I had for 17 years better.
